Will Holmes was kind enough to interview me on his blog. I talk about square watermelons and Don Norman. I hear they're giving away licenses of Tangerine! and Voice Candy too.

Big thanks to Paul Kafasis of Rogue Amoeba who put this together again.
I have been away for a few weeks on vacation but I'm back in California fully recharged. I finally got a new iPhone while vacationing and it proved to be an indispensable tool for running the bare essentials of the business remotely. I am not quite used to the virtual keyboard yet, but being able to reply to emails on the road while listening to music and snapping pictures felt like a major victory for road warriors everywhere. It was awesome being able to look up things like the Smoot on the spot.
So... getting back to work, I will be releasing minor updates to Voice Candy and Tangerine! soon.
There is also a new app in the works. It should be an interesting one and I'll be providing more information on it in the weeks and months to come.
A shameless self-promotion:

I have been blogging right here on the company blog since the very beginning of the company's public debut, but 2007 is the year I have decided to take the plunge to maintain a separate personal blog. The company blog has become more of a news outlet for events and I feel like I will be more comfortable posting the sexy/juicy/nerdy stuff there. I just can't do that here without risking the company's reputation and/or boring you to death. In addition, I guarantee that you will get 100% more typos and grammatical errors on the new blog, all free of charge. By the way, I consider Cocoa sexy—just in case you were expecting something else.
Some of us developers have gotten together to bring you an awesome week of Mac software goodness at 20% discount. Our own software goes on sale starting from today until the 25th. Head on over to macsanta.com to see the details and to see the other companies participating. Rogue Amoeba, Bare Bones, Flying Meat, Karelia, Red Sweater, and Unsanity are some of the companies participating. Yeah, this is a sweet deal. Show your support of indie mac developers by taking advantage of this opportunity.
If you are a developer, you can join the promotion as well.
We've been working non-stop to fix the crashes and hope to have another update soon. Most of the crashes were happening with the album art fetching so this time we're using a completely different approach. Thank you everyone who sent in crash reports and feedback. We haven't been able to respond to all of you because we've received a massive load of emails these past few days, but we do read each and every one of them and your feedback is much appreciated.
Moving on, here are answers to two frequently asked questions:
We will soon do a closed beta of our next product, codenamed Project Q.
I won't announce details today, but it is a new smallish app in the audio category. If you join the beta, you will be expected to actively participate and provide input.
If you are interested, please sign up to the Yahoo! Group we have setup for the beta by following the link:
